Adoration
Our Church, in the beautiful city of Bath, is deeply blessed to have a weekly devotion to the Blessed Sacrament known as Adoration.
What does that mean? Adoring before the Blessed Sacrament can be described as a piece of heaven here on earth.
We invite you to come, just as you are, and sit with Our Lord and our King, in peace and comfort, in silence and safety, before His visible presence here on earth in the humblest of food.
He is calling us, blessing us…our King who thirsts to save us. Come, let us adore Him.
Adoration at St John’s is available every week from :
Tuesday – Friday : 10.30am until 5.30pm – in the Church
Wednesdays – Saturdays 7.00pm – 7.45am – in the Adoration Chapel
On Wednesdays our Contemporary Music Group hosts an hour of worship from 12.30pm to 1.30pm
On Fridays there is a Children’s Adoration Hour from 4.30pm to 5.30pm
Adoration is an act of self-giving. Spending time with the Lord, in his real presence, is open to everyone.
