Music for a Summer’s Evening
With the Vox8 Vocal Octet
On Saturday 2nd July 5.30pm - 8pm
at Kelston Park, Bath BA1 9AE
You are invited to an evening of musical delight at Bath's historic Kelston Park in aid of the Bethlehem-Bath Links charity.
The magnificent Kelston Park House was designed by John Wood the Younger and its surrounding Grade II listed parklands by Capability Brown.
Kindly hosted by Bath's chartered financial planners Moore Stephens, the evening will begin with drinks on the terrace overlooking the Avon Valley, followed by fabulous vocals of sacred and secular music from ancient to modern times sung by Bath's famous vocal octet Vox8, led by talented young conductor Neil Moore.
The evening is in support of the Bethlehem-Bath Links which has three main aims:
- Foster understanding by us in the United Kingdom of the situation in Palestine with a focus on Bethlehem, through Films, talks and events.
- To reassure the beleaguered Palestinians that where we can we will help. Visas are costly and extremely difficultlt but Israelis get theirs free on arrival in UK.
- Help create “Links” through sports, arts, and trade.
We hope you can come for what we hope will be a lovely evening in superb surroundings and help us achieve our latest projects: A Children’s Natural History Museum in Bethlehem and the accreditation by the Israeli Government to import and supply to Palestinian farmers a ‘non-chemical fertilizer’ that enables good growth using less of the vital water supply.
